I find Haptic Touch too slow and somehow feels less intuitive, plus the 3D Touch shortcuts we used to have are sorely missed, at least by me.
iOS 17 has a new Haptic Touch duration accessibility setting that makes long-presses much more responsive and efficient than before.
Haptic Touch is a press and hold sensation, while 3D Touch is a faster press with force kind of gesture that activates quicker.
Essentially, Haptic Touch is just long-pressing. Because it can't detect multiple levels of pressure like 3D Touch did, you can't use the "peek"
3D Touch 跟Haptic Touch 最大不同在於3D Touch 是多重壓力感應,它會知道你按下的力度,從而做到Peek and Pop,而相反Haptic Touch 只會有單一壓力感應。
Whenever you use 3D touch, your iPhone gives you haptic feedback (like a tiny vibration). With Haptic Touch you can use the exact same actions
