This is my review on the Hiboy S2 Pro Electric Scooter. It’s made in China, which doesn’t really means it’s low quality or bad, but more of a caution about after-sales support. I have to say, I had no issues with the Chinese manufacturer so far and the reviews are great, so maybe give them a chance!

Two things immediately attract attention when you get the scooter out of its packing: how light it is (only 17 kg) and that it looks pretty cool.
The second one is subjective of course. Just to put into perspective how light this thing actually is – consider that an average bicycle weights 16 kg! This electric scooter can carry up to 120 kg maximum load, the battery takes about 2 hours to get fully charged and goes for about 20 mile on a single charge!
It may be not as fast as a motorcycle or as powerful as some massive 4×4 vehicle but it’s certainly quick enough to commute from one place to another faster than walking. In fact, there’s no vehicle that can move this fast without being motorised.
Storage
One of the biggest benefits of Hiboy S2 Pro Electric Scooter – aside form its weight & size – is how easy it is to store in the trunk of a car or somewhere in the house.
It’s so small, so flat and has such an unique design that it can fit everywhere around your house. It easily folds to less than 1/3 of its original size, which is really beneficial during storage and transportation. There are no need for any special rack or bike stand you can just lean it up against the wall (or furniture) wherever you like!

Durability and reliability
Hiboy S2 electric scooter’s wheelbase is about 1 feet high and is very sturdy. You won’t find any flex or serious movement in the frame when you ride it, even though it is really small in size…which makes this product perfect even for children who want to have some fun!
How long does it take to charge?
Hiboy S2 electric scooter is one of the most effective products in its category. It has great range, top speed and acceleration!
The maximum you can ride with no pedaling is about 20mph with a top speed of 22mp/h. You can travel around 18 miles with its 48v 6ah batteries fully charged…so if you want to go further you should also look for an extra battery pack. The battery takes up to 6 hours to get fully charged.
If you are looking for an electric scooter that can go at 22 mph then Hiboy S2 Pro Electric Scooter is the best choice. It has a good range, top speed and acceleration!
Weight
The weight of this model is 80 pounds so it’s still light enough to carry to your car or garage….However, if its too heavy for you – stay away from this one because all other pro models have maximum weight capacity of 220 lbs.
The battery takes up to 6 hours to get fully charged…if you want faster charging time you should also look for an extra battery pack (not included)
